Story and Origin of Salmon Ovary Peptide (SOP)

Salmon Ovary Peptide (SOP), also known as Ocean Placenta, is a raw material obtained from ovaries of wild deep sea salmons and extracted using the Japan patented Biological Enzyme Degradation Technology.
After the thawing, washing and degradation process, freezing peptides will be proceeded to enzyme degradation process to obtain the salmon ovary envelopes. Salmons will be released back into the ocean for 3 to 4 years after the ovary extraction process.
Wild deep sea salmons are less likely to be infected with foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) and avian influenza, thus they are much safer than other livestock and farmed fish. It shows no polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs), pesticide, heavy metals and other toxins in a wild deep sea salmon’s body, thus it is recognized by Japanese as a safe-to-eat natural resource.
